The Rappahannock County High School Athletic Boosters would like their supporters to know that tickets are still available on the main fund raiser which is still in progress. The $20 raffle tickets are on sale and the prizes are first place $1,000; second place $750 and third place $250. Only 200 tickets are printed so, contact any booster member for yours.

Breakfast with Santa
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will spon- ' sor breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21 at the fire hall. The menu consist of sausage, bacon, eggs, gravy, biscuits, cereal, coffee and orange juice. For more information call 635-6392 or 635-5472.
Ragged Mountain activities
Ragged Mountain Resource Center located at Oldway Art Center in Sperryville announces the following upcoming events:
Sunday, Dec. 21, Winter Solstice Bonfire, in the playing field behind Mountainside Market on US 211, West of Sperryville at dusk.
Thursday, Jan. 1, New Year’s Day hike, The Peak, meet at Ragged Mountain Resource Center Office behind Oldway Art Center between 9 and 9:30, return mid to late afternoon. Bring food for self and layered clothing.
Saturday, Jan. 10, Second Saturday Series hike, “Robertson Mountain”, meet at Ragged Mountain Office between 9 and 9:30, return by mid-afternoon. Shenandoah National Park pass or $5 fee required.

Bloodmobile coming
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be sponsoring a bloodmobile from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19. For more information call 675-3638.
