The following activities will be held at the Sperryville United Methodist Church and the community is invited to participate:
On Sunday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. the Sunday School group will host a birthday party for Jesus. Everyone is asked to bring canned goods for a needy family.
On Monday, Dec. 22 the youth group will go Christmas caroling. The group will leave the church at 6:30.
On Christmas Eve, at 8 p.m. the church will hold its candle light service.
The community is asked to keep little Johnny Jenkins, son of Johnny and Michelle Jenkins, in their prayers. He will be having surgery in January.
Ms. Phyllis Savoy of Arlington was a Friday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins and Angie.
Sunday guests in the Jenkins home were Richard Jenkins, Amy Wharton and Amanda.
