A county resident since 1977, she arrived with her husband, Roger, shortly after they married. They have two daughters, Ryan, 9, and Morgan, 12. She teaches high school Latin and is beginning a class in Greek next year. Going back to Mary Washington in 1988, Roach finished a masters of arts and liberal studies in 1992.
