The council agreed that there would be a limited number of keys and personnel with official access to the facility.
Executive Session
The council met in closed session to discuss proposed $250 Christmas bonuses for the town’s four employees. Current salary rates range from $8 per hour for the town’s maintenance specialist and $10 per hour for the administrative assistant, to $20 and $75 per hour for the town treasurer and attorney, respectively.
Members also finalized a resolution stating that town employees terms “shall run concurrently with the term of the council.” Each employee is expected to submit a resignation at the end of the current council session. It will be up to the new council as to whether or not the employee should be reappointed.
