Five Forks sets homecoming

Five Forks Regular Baptist Church will have their annual homecoming services on Sunday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at the Child Care and Learning Center’s pavilion. Lunch will follow the morning service. Afternoon services will follow at Five Forks Church. The speaker will be the Rev. Hoover Heflin. Music will be provided by singers from Oak Park Road Baptist Church. All are welcome.

First Baptist bus trip set

You are invited to travel with the First Baptist Church family for their church outing to Baltimore, Md. on Saturday, June 27 to visit the “Great Blacks in Wax Museum” and the Harbor Place. The ticket price is $20 per person which includes round trip bus transportation and entrance to the museum. The bus will begin loading at the church at 7:15 a.m. and will leave promptly at 7:30 a.m., returning back to church at approximately 7 p.m. You may pack a lunch or prepare to buy it at the harbor. Other attractions at the harbor include the National Aquarium, great shopping, boat rides and more. These attractions are not included in the price of the ticket.
