4-H Camp will be held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center near Front Royal the week of Aug. 9-13.
Each morning, campers participate in three classes of their choosing. Classes scheduled include: canoeing, beginning horsemanship, swimming, tennis, foods, nature studies, shooting education, crafts, fishing, art, performing arts, rocketry, and many more. Sports and recreations, swimming, and tribal activities will occupy the campers in the afternoon. Evening activities include campfires, talent shows, games, dances, and many other special programs and activities designed for fun!
We are taking registration now, so come by or call the Extension office at 675-3619 to receive a registration form. The cost of camp is $130. Youth ages nine through 14 years (as of 9-30-98) can go to camp.
