The annual promotion has proven to be a successful tool in promoting beef, according to Boggs. “Last year, it led to at least seven feature articles in such magazines as Bon Apetite, Cuisine, Food and Wine and Midwest Living," Boggs said. “Among the 1167 newspaper placements, were articles in the New York Times and the Washington Post.”
