PUBLIC HEARING
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
UPDATED DATA & LAYOUT
The Rappahannock County Planning Commission, in accordance with §15.2-2204, §15.2-2226 & §15.2-2228 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, shall hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17,1998, at 7:30 p.m., to consider the final draft Comprehensive Plan for Rappahannock County prepared over the last several years.
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a hearing on the plan on Monday, July 6, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA.
Copies of the plan are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the County Administration Office, the Rappahannock County Circuit Court Clerk's Office and the Rappahannock County Public Library
The text of the draft Comprehensive Plan has been previously approved by both the Rappahannock County Planning Commission as well as the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors and is not the subject of these hearings This hearing is intended solely to consider additional information to be added to the text (consisting of descriptive material concerning the Town of Washington and updated data concerning demographics, school enrollment, etc.) and the actual layout of the plan itself
All interested persons are invited to attend and to make comments Written comments will be accepted at the County Administrator's Office, 290 Gay Street, or PO. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747, until one week after the Hearing.
