Eugene Dodson, who is a patient at a nursing home in Luray visited in the home of Roger Hitt on Saturday. Family and friends called and came by to visit with Mr. Dodson.

Massanutten Military Academy, Woodstock, Va., is very proud to announce that Cadet Christian P. Iten, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Iten of Flint Hill has distinguished himself by receiving Silver Eagle Academic Awards (3.5 - 3.99 GPA) for all four quarters of the 1997-1998 academic year.
Cadet Iten also received athletic letters for weight lifting and volleyball and the annual academic award for French 1. Cadet Iten has just completed his second year at Massanutten.
