is designed to introduce students to the principles of drawing and painting. Instruction in drawing will include principles of design, line, shape, and modeling. Painting color principles such as primary, secondary, and complementary colors will be introduced and stressed. Instruction in the elements of form, light, and shadow will be presented. Lines, shapes, and colors are brought together by the child’s imagination to create wonderful projects designed to teach basic art knowledge. Projects that stress eye-hand coordination will be presented in a simple and fun way.
