• County Administrator John McCarthy gave an update to the commission on telecommunjications facilities.
He said there is no real local base of subscribers now but if it were to become an issue the county needs to be up to date on the matter. Current ordinance says the only place one may be located is Chester Gap and the ordinance as it stands is now unenforceable under current state law. He said if towers were erected here in order to get coverage, due to the topography, they would have to be located at Chester Gap, near the Co-op and in the F.T. Valley. He said he would research the matter further and come back with more information so the county can decide if it should adopt a new ordinance.
• The Conservation Zoning District Committee will meet in December. Commission chair Sharon Pierce said she wants to meet with the committee and nominated Chris Parrish as a member. The other members are Pat Saltonstall, Don Audette and Joe Oliver.
