Judd, 987-7263, is helping with publicity, graphics,etc and school contacts; Barney O’Meara, 987-3302, is helping as liason with VDOT and, their “Adopt-A-Road” program; Stessie Cattrell, 9873342, is helping contact the business community along with Mary Boudreau Bittinger, 987-9300, and Ronnie Peletier, 675-2745, who is also interested in recycling; Buck and Geraldine Payne, 987-8303, are contacts for fire and rescue units; Jan Makela, 987-5718, is both a school and store liason; Rick and Kay Kohler, 9376146, and Joe Peregory, 9376163, are Scouts contacts; and myself, 987-3366, helping with overall project coordination with a particular emphasis on historically problematic or illegal dump sites and stream/river bed cleanup.
Participation across the entire county community is encouraged, and additional liason coordinators are especially welcomed. Contact any of the persons listed for additional information or interest in the program. The main TRF Clean-up will take place from mid March through midApril. The next TFR meeting date will be determined at the Dec. 7 pick-up/meeting at Mountainside Market.
