Holiday mailing deadlines for international and APO/FPO mail are fast approaching. Recommended mailing dates for letters and parcels going to foreign coun tries via International Air Mail are: Africa, Dec. 3; Australia/New Zealand, Caribbean, Europe, Far East and Middle East, Dec. 10; and Canada, Dec. 14. For customers who need faster service, Global Priority Mail is available for parcels under four pounds going to certain countries.
APO/FPO Military Mail being sent to friends and family overseas should be mailed by Dec. 3. This mail is sent at regular domestic rates, but the volume going abroad requires extra time. Priority Mail is especially recommended for these parcels.
Both APO/FPO and international parcels over one pound must have a customs form. We suggest that you obtain a supply before wrapping your package so you may bring your already completed form with you when you mail
