ror tne l^ivu war entnusiast yearning to own a little bit of history, Leesburg book and memorabilia dealer Richard Claar has a number of books signed by important wartime leaders.
He has a first-edition, 1862 Richmond imprint about the first year of the war that is signed “John S. Mosby, Col.,” and was apparently in Mosby’s library. He also has several signed books that were once part of the 3,000-volume library of famed Union Gen. Joshua Chamberlain, hero of Gettysburg.
