“That’s because of where we’re located, of course,” Duberman says. “We’re in the middle of Civil War country.”
For an added treat, you can get a book signed by a Civil War author. Duberman is holding his annual Civil War authors’ book signing, with about a dozen authors, Saturday, Dec. 12, from 1-5 p.m.
How about a print? Civil War prints by modern-day artists are all the rage. Framecrafl on Main Street and Fifth Street Gallery in Warrenton and the Byrne Gallery in Middleburg all offer prints from the war between the states.
Potomac Gallery in Leesburg offers Civil War prints by 10 artists, including Don Troiani, Mort Kunstler and Loudoun’s own Don Stivers, as well as Stivers’ oil paintings and studies.
