The June meeting of the Rappahannock County School Board opened with a multi-media show staged by Andra Logan and her special education students. Using slides with a taped musical accompaniment, video, and narrative, the group described their recent cruise to the Bahamas and, especially, their interaction with the dolphins at a marine park. The students, as shown on the video, spent some time hugging, kissing, and dancing with a dolphin, and they all (even the dolphin) seemed to be having a great time. The trip, costing $13,000, was financed in part by a head charge for each student and chaperone, but largely from fund raising and sales of the classes wares. 1998 school report cards
