The Rappahannock News wishes to recognize the top students in this year’s graduating class:

• Emily Grace Sims of Sperryville is the class Valedictorian with a GPA of 4.0. She competed in cross country and track, and was a member of the National Honors Society and Student Council Association. She plans to attend Whitman College in Washington state.

• The Salutatorian this year is Braden Thomas Wolfe of Slate Mills. He has a 3.98 GPA and his extra-curricular activities included cross country, baseball, boys soccer, National Honors Society and Technology Students Association. Outside of school he has been an eagle scout. Wolfe will attend the University of Virginia this fall.

• Robyn Michelle Kaye of Flint Hill finished with a 3.89 GPA. Her activities included girls soccer, the National Honors Society and Student Council Association. She will be attending Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg.

• Claire Merschel Schadler of Castleton carries a 3.87 GPA into graduation. Among her activities are cross country, volleyball and National Honors Society. She plans to attend Bard College, in upstate New York.

Graduation exercises will be held Saturday, June 12 at 10 a.m. at RCHS.
