• The board approved, by a 4-1 vote with Mike Massie dissenting, re-appropriating $46,493 from FY2000 to this fiscal year for the Sheriff’s Office to pick up two new cruisers that came in sooner than expected.
• By a unanimous vote, the board, approved a resolution praising the individuals, Hunt Harris, Barney O’Meara and Doug Baumgarder, who organized Trash Free Rappahannock.
• The supervisors unanimously approved closing Route 612 between U.S. 211 and Route 600, from June 14 through no later than July 13, for bridge repair and reconstruction.
• As per VDOT requirements, a public hearing on the closure of Main Street in Sperryville to large trucks will be included as part of the July meeting.
• The board authorized McCarthy to extend lease agreements for the county Building and Extension Offices. The offices are located in Peter Kramer’s building on Gay and Jett Streets in
