Rev. and Mrs. Jennings W. Hobson III of Washington will welcome a new “son” for the 1999 Year, Volkmar Gerhard Lehmann, a Youth For Understanding (YFU) International Exchange student from Germany. Volkmar will be a student at Rappahannock County High School in Washington.
As a member of the Hobson III family, Volkmar will participate in all family activities, from vacations . to household chores. While sharing the culture of Germany with his host family and schoolmates, he will learn about U. S. culture.
