Creating the num? her of ornate costumes tha$ are needed is an overwhelming talk, and other volunteers who enjoy sewing are invited to join the efforts. • If you happen to have any of the following materials on hand and would consider donating them for our, Renaissance costumes, please drop them by the RCPS School Board Office or call Jan Makela at 987-8259 or 937^ 5718. Needed items are: tassels, gold or silver braid, wide! ribbons, taffeta lining fabric, ornate buttons, velvet or brocade fabric. If you have other things tucked away in your attic or basement that you think might work, please feel free to call and discuss them. We will appreciate any help that is offered.
• Just one more word about DARE/Field Day. The corps of volunteers who. appeared to help set up events, run events, supervise displays, replenish drinks,, make snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn and somuch more were an amazing group.
