Cathy Lou Smith invites everyone to attend the McGlothlin reunion on Saturday, June 19, from 12 until 6 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Park on U.S. 211. Bring a dish, old photos to share, and a musical instrument for afterlunch fellowship. Participants may also subscribe to the McGlothlin newsletter and directory.

Prizes to be awarded to the person traveling the greatest distance, most family members present, and to the oldest and youngest person attending. Cathy Lou notes she understands Charlie Sanders from Florida plans to attend. For more information, call Cathy Lou at 937-5024.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bonnie Hitt who is recovering from gall bladder surgery. Some people will do anything to get out of those last few days of school!

Our sympathy is extended to the family of James H. McGlothlin who passed away on May 27 at Hilton Head Hospital following complications from a heart attack. Mr. McGlothlin was a retired partner of the Washington law firm Covington and Burling.
