Congratulations go out to my husband, Ricky who received a plaque on Friday night for second place for best appearing antique vehicle in the Sperryville parade for his 1964 Chevrolet pickup.
Congratulations also go out to my niece, Christal Jenkins who was second runner up in the Sperryville Honorary Fire Chief contest.
Christal is the daughter of Robert and Emily Jenkins of Gid Brown Hollow.
Many Sperryville residents attended the carnival events each evening and the support is appreciated.
Mrs. Thelma Jenkins was a recent Sunday overnight and Monday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cave in Boston.
