My garden is threatened. After month’s of work in it and promising growth from it, the only thing between me and grocery store tomatoes is about four inches of rain in the next few weeks, and it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. Watering has saved the snow peas and the cornichon cucumbers, but the little pump is telling me that it hasn’t much left to draw. Shades of last August!
I see too, that the first hay cutting was down to about half of normal, and the second doesn’t look like it has much of a chance, at least without some precipatory intervention. I don’t know about the other crops, but I’m sure that they
