Wakefield Country Day School at Huntly held its 20th commencement exercise in the senior garden on Sunday, May 30 to honor 15 graduates of the Class of 1999.
The Honorable William Shore Robertson, Chief Circuit Court Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit, addressed the graduates applauding them for their accomplishments, reminding them of the privilege they have experienced in attending such a challenging, caring school, and urging them to give of themselves in a world greatly in need of values.
Erin Nilan of Warrenton, Valedictorian of the Class, reflected on her experiences during her years at Wakefield, “This honor is not only a tribute to my achievements, but it is a tribute to my classmates. I would not be standing here if not for the encouragement, understanding, sense of
