Chris Antony, graduated from Rappahannock County High School in the middle of June and still made time to attend the 21st annual national Technology Student Association (TSA) conference in Tulsa, Okla.
He joined approximately 2,500 other conference attendees from across the nation to participate in national level skill competitions, special interest sessions and leadership sessions.
“The national conference is the highlight of the school year for students enrolled in technology education courses,” said TSA Chapter adviser, Ron Vickers, who teaches at RCHS.
Chris entered several contests and place sixth in the nation in Manufacturing Prototype.
His idea was a PVC type enclosure that one could lower down into a well pipe. Successful prior testing showed that about a gallon of water could be hoisted at a time. Chris named his project the Y2K Well Bucket in planning ahead for any power
