has an opening for a Social Worker to provide services to prevent placement of children outside the home, to oversee day care and to coordinate sen/ices through the Comprehensive Services Act.

The following knowledge, skills and abilities are required: Knowledge of social work principles and practices; knowledge of human behavior; ability to exchange information orally with clients, co-workers, and staff members of other agencies; ability to make and implement case decisions; ability to assess an individuals and/or family’s strengths and needs, knowledge of social, economic, and health problems that face individual’s groups and communities; ability to respond to the client’s emotions; ability to plan and manage with supervision, own work activities; ability to write; and ability to interpret laws, policies, and regulations.
