on our local schools, and will soon be expanding their studies to surrounding counties.
The astonishing thing about all these implemented and planned Headwaters programs is that the funding that makes it all possible comes from right here in Rappahannock. Many individuals and businesses who care deeply about our children’s future continue to give us their support, for which we are eternally grateful.
In an effort to continue to brining in the necessary funds, Headwaters will produce its first annual fundraiser, a “Taste of Rappahannock,” on Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999 at 7 p.m. at the Old Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue.
We are inviting people from outside and from within the county to come join us in September for a congenial evening of conversation with some of our most interesting residents and fine food unique to Rappahannock. The menu will feature appetizers from our excellent Bed & Breakfasts, dinner prepared with the help of some of our finest restaurants, with ingredients from local farms and wine from nearby vineyards.
