Castleton this past week.

The school theme was fruits of the Holy Spirit, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.

Parents and grandparents were present Friday evening for the finalization of the Bible School’s program and to enjoy hearing what the children had learned. A puppet show presented by Angie and Andra Lines was a treat for all.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Norman and family had lunch at The Country Cafe on Sunday.

Friday evening, Die, Michele and Walter Milton Burke were guests of the John Suche’s in Culpeper for family night.

Friday visitors of Mrs. Audra Crawford were Lillian and Jim Sykes of Culpeper.

Our sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hitt of Castleton on the loss of their son, Chris.

Happy birthday to Randi Lynne Norman of Chester Gap. She will celebrate her birthday on Saturday.

Richard and Rena Burke enjoyed brfeakfast at The Country Cafe on Tuesday, then they spent a few hours at the Culpeper Library and later in the afternoon they had lunch at Long John Silver. Richard says retirement is wonderful!

Sunday evening, the Burkes visited with John, Nina and Eric Norman in Washington. They also visited with Marilyn Bailey who is recuperating from a hip injury and is a house guest of the Normans.
