The bride’s mother wore a tea length two-piece dress of hunter green with matching accessories.

The groom’s mother wore a black dress with an overlay of white lace.

They each wore corsages of white miniature roses and hunter green accents.

Wedding director was Christie Baker. Pam Deal attended the guest book and Susan Gochenour handed out the bulletins and scrolls. Joycie Lindsay videotaped the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, a reception party was held at. the Stanley Fire Hall. Reception decorations included a balloon arch, balloon bouquets, votive candles accented with hunter green and iridescent marbles.

Hostess included Myrtle Taylor and Tammy Painter. The cake table was decorated with green ivy, white and hunter green roses and baby’s breath.

The three-tiered cake consisted of a fountain with bridges on each side and was prepared by LuAnn Mathew, and served by Neva Blakemore and Bonnie Stoneberger. Timmy Good provided the music.

The groom’s parents hosted an after rehearsal dinner at the church social hall.

After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple is residing in Stanley.

The bride is employed by Whispering Pines as a Licensed Practical Nurse and the groom as a mechanic by Wrangler in Luray.
