She retired as a presser from Aileen Company and was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church.
She was a lifetime member of Strasburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband was the late Glen Locke Rickard.
Surviving are two sons, Glen A. Rickard and Bobby Lee Rickard, both of Strasburg; two daughters, Betty Lou Rickard and Shirley Ann Rickard, both of Strasburg and three sisters, Mary Virginia Miller and Louise Miller, both of Strasburg and Frances Hackley of Amissville.
