Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church hosted a “Son-Fair” carnival for children on Saturday and the event was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. Many thanks to Pastor Jon Heddleston and his wife, April for their contributions in this community to the young people.
Anyone with news of interest, birthday parties, upcoming events or family celebrations should give me a call to have it included in this column.
Residents are reminded of the Flint Hill carnival with the grand parade being held on Friday evening at 6:45 p.m. The newly crowned Miss Virginia from Roanoke will be a featured guest. As always, many other participants will highlight the parade. Hope to see you there.
