her title in the spring beauty contest sponsored by Rappahannock Jaycees. Approximately 200 young people from throughout the state attended State 4-H Conservation Camp at Camp Farrar, Virginia Beach last week. Among those at camp was Richard Gore Jr. of Castleton. Joseph B. Reid, a project manager, has been named a senior associate with Perkins and Will Partnership, a firm of architects in Washington, D.C. He is the son of Mrs. C.G. Reid of Washington, Va.

A deed of 6.5 acres along the Rush River was conveyed Tuesday to the Rappahannock Recreation Association from Colonel Earl E. Holmes and Granville Eastham, president of the Recreation Association, foresees no problem in having the deed made out to the Association instead of to the county. Facilities to be build during the first phase of the Recreation Association’s Construction program include tennis courts, volleyball fields, horseshoe pits and an outdoor pavilion. 4-H Day Camp was conducted last week at Round-About Farm south of Sperryville where swimming was one of the primary afternoon activities. Mrs. Joan St. Clair and daughter Jeanne assisted with the swimming instruction. The hospital
