Families plan reunion
The Jenkins, Woodard and Sisk reunion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 1 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. It will be an all- day, fun filled event. Those attending should bring a covered dish.
Soccer registration underway
Rappahannock Soccer League is currently accepting fall registrations, ages 6-16 at a cost of $35 and $30 for additional siblings. After Aug. 1, a $10 late registration fee will be added. So don’t wait, do it now! Thee will be on-site registration July 24 from 9 to 12 in front of Rappahannock County Elementary School. Sports physicals offered
Virginia High School League Physicals will be given at the Rappahannock Medical Center on July 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. The VHSL physical form will be available at the Medical Center. There will be a $10 fee to Medical Center.
Wakefield hosts open house
Wakefield School in The Plains will host Admissions Open Houses for students entering grades 4-6 and 9-11 on Wednesday, July 21 and Thursday, Aug. 5 both at 7 p.m. The public and especially prospective students and their parents are invited to attend. For more information call 253-5393.
' Summer camp scheduled
I TASC for Teens of Jeffersonton is organizing and leading a two-week Canadian Wilderness Fishing Summer Camp to beautiful Northern Ontario for youth ages 10-17 on Aug. 7-20. The trip will leave from Jeffersonton and include qualified and caring staff, complete instruction, round-trip transportation, meals, most camping equipment, cabin lodging, and motorboat.
