Geneva Bell Hawkins, 84, of Sperryville died Aug. 3 at Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Hawkins was born Dec. 11, 1914 in Castleton to the late Giles Melon Golden and Alma G. Golden.
She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her husband of 64 years, George Willis Hawkins; one daughter, Judith Hawkins Codding of Fairfax and one son, G. Philip Hawkins of Boston.
Additional survivors include three granddaughters, J. Cady Codding of Alexandria, Cally Codding Birgfeld of Richmond and Clare Codding of Austin, Texas and one grandson, F. Hayden Codding of Fairfax.
She is also survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Edmonds of Front Royal, Katherine Gassert of Fairfax and Edith Sullivan of Austin,
