Stella Ruth Payne, 72, of Flint Hill, died Saturday, Aug. 7 at Winchester Medical Center.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at TurnerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal. Burial was in Flint Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Payne was born May 13, 1927, daughter of the late Allie Ashby and Stella Mae Presgraves Payne.
Surviving are four brothers, Albert Payne, Charles Payne and Robert Payne, all of Front Royal and Willie Payne of Flint Hill and three sisters, Fannie Thompson of Front Royal, Mattie Reynolds of Lantham, Md. and Louise Barbe of Woodbridge.
Pallbearers were Steve Payne, Robert Payne, Jerry Payne, Woodrow Wilson Fincham Jr., Robert Fincham, Timmy Reynolds, Billy Thompson and Bobby Thompson.
