Sometime prior to Aug. 4, an unknown person(s) broke into Flint Hill Pentecostal Church on Aileen Road through the basement door. Stolen were a P.A. system, four speakers and a birthday bank full of change. The Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office is investigating the incident.
Game violation
A resident on Hazel River Drive, near the Culpeper County line, reported someone in a truck spotlighting deer around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 2. The red truck was seen in a field between the Hazel and Hughes Rivers. Shots were also heard. The resident later found tire tracks and evidence that a deer had been shot.
