Calvin Quentin Walters, 79, died July 14 at his home in Laurel, Md.
He was born in Savage, Md. on Aug. 9, 1919, one of four sons to the late Sanford and Maude Walters.
He worked at the Savage Cotton Mills and served in the Army from 1941 to 1945. He served as a combat soldier in several areas of the European Theater, and was promoted to Technical Sergeant in the 29th Division, 175th Infantry,
