Greg Cook at Blue Ridge Tbchnologies in Flint Hill shared some of the same concerns. Their systems are already Y2K compliant. Blue Ridge Technologies addressed this “problem” when it started business in 1989, so they were ahead of almost everyone else in getting ready. However, they have not received assurance from all of the suppliers that their systems are compliant.
Oasis CD and Cassette Duplication has a slightly different problem. In addition to their Flint Hill office, they have a plant in Minnesota. Vandy and Micah Solomon said that the office is ready.
They use Macintosh computers, so there were few problems to fix. The Minnesota plant, however, still has work to be done. But the Solomons are confident that the plant will be ready before the end of the year.
