but how I said it. I have a sincere love for Rappahannock County and the scenic views we are all fortunate enough to enjoy. I want to contribute whatever I can to guarantee that each and every citizen, from now on, will have the opportunity to experience our “little slice of heaven” just as we have.
I believe the issues before the County are as follows:
1. The cell tower system proposed does not serve the county Fire and Rescue teams. Each system is totally different and the cell system is not entirely what the county emergency teams need. Even if you take into account that cell phones are a big help to every citizen when needed to call for emergency services, the total county coverage under the proposed Sprint Plan is concentrated along Route 211 & 522 and would be about 40 percent without any service for the Sperryville/Woodville area.
2. The alternative sites as proposed by Mr. Zindel and me at the last Planning Commission meeting would give much broader coverage but also give the county an additional added benefit for the fire and rescue association. The property owners of the alternate sites are willing to donate one-half (1/2) of the rental income directly to the Rappahannock Fire and
