Fairy Tale walk planned
The children's garden at Hearthstone School will be presenting “Gnmm's Fairy Tale Halloween Walk" on Fnday. Nov. 2 from 6 to 7 p m. Your young child may tnck or treat at each fairy ; tale scene. Apple cider and baked goods will be offered at the end of the walk. Residents are encouraged to make this a part of your Rappahannock Halloween tradition. Clinic will be open Nov. 7
The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation of the Fauquier Free Clinic Inc., is currently open on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. The clinic will be open Wednesday. Nov. 7 and not again until Nov. 21.
Patient registration is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Public Health Department Building. For additional information call 347-0394.
NSDAR members to meet
The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter. NSDAR will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Culpeper Public Library at 1:30 p.m. The program will be on Quilts - Old and New and feel free to bring a treasure with you.
Registration, team selection set
Registration and team selection for the Rappahannock. Rec. League Basketball will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 at! the Rappahannock County High School gym. The schedule is as follows: Boys, 4-6th grades at 2 p.m.: Girls. 7-9th grades at 3 p.m. and girls 4-6th grades at 4 p.m. All players should come dressed to play basketball. DMV closed for Veteran s Day
In observance of Veteran's Day, all Department of Motor Vehicles customer service centers will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12. Offices will be open during regularly scheduled hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Nov. 10.
Conservation Alliance meeting

Conservation Easement Specialist for; Virginia Outdoor Foundation, will be the featured guest speaker at the Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance meeting' on Nov. 4 at the McNear s in Gid Brown Hollow.
