Admissions

• Wakefield Country Day School made good use of the breezy, sunny day on Saturday, as parents and students turned out for the Grounds Clean-up Day. Although chilly at times, it seemed the perfect weather to clean out gutters, mulch flower beds, and prune back bushes and trees.

• Uniform-free days were earned by Brian and Alex Shafran, Connor Hammelman, and Brier Clough. Thanks to all who supported the Grounds Committee!

• Once again this November, WCDS will host its ,Fall Open House. Set for Sunday, Nov. 11 the school will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. Teachers, staff, and students will be hand to talk with families who might be interested in placing their children at WCDS. Because the curriculum is demanding, students in last year’s SAT scores averaged 1350.

Classes are smaller than most public schools, which allows a higher teacher/student ratio. Students will be available to show prospective families the facility and to answer questions that parents
