Culpeper Soil and Water District of which Rappahannock is a part. The Cannons own a 500-acre farm, El Rancho Grande, with 200 open acres devoted to grassland farming for 20 years. In addition Mr. Cannon rents an additional 250 acres of pasture land.
Former Webelos who advanced to Boy Scouts in a ceremony Friday included Greg Daczewitz, David Fisher, Wesley Jenkins, Fred Ausberry, Adam Clatterbuck, Michael Payne and Matthew Owings. The Scoutmaster is James Shaw and assistant junior scout leader is Mike White.
Finally there is a fire escape on the Rappahannock courthouse. Charlie and Donald Mills of Sperryville contracted to erect the metal fire escape and work was completed last week.
