DWI reported
A McLean man traveling through the county on the. afternoon of Oct. 27 was stopped on U. S. 211 west of Washington and charged with driving while intoxicated.
George W. Wallace, 44, was observed while stopped by a county resident, who believed he was intoxicated.
The resident notified the Sheriff’s Office, indicating the type of automobile Wallace was driving and his direction of travel.
He was apprehended by Dep. Berry near the Trading Post, and charged with DWI.
Cocaine arrest
Deputies working radar on Rt. 522 near Woodville on the evening of Oct. 27 stopped a Broadway, Va. man for speeding, and consequently discovered that he was in possession of narcotics.
Dep. Berry arrested George K. Moore Jr., 20, who has been charged with speeding, driving on a suspended license, and possession of cocaine.
