PUBLIC HEARING SIX-YEAR PLAN FOR SECONDARY ROADS

& 2001-2002 SECONDARY ROAD

IMPROVEMENT BUDGET

In accordance with §33.1-70.01 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended), on Monday, November 5, 2001, at 7:00 PM at the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing on the Six-Year Secondary Road Improvement Plan for Rappahannock County. This meeting shall also include a public hearing concerning the Secondary Road improvement budget for the coming fiscal year.

Proposals and suggestions for both the Six-Year1 Plan and Fiscal Year budget are available for inspection from 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday at the County Administration Office in Washington, VA, and at the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Warrenton Residency Office in Warrenton, VA.

All interested persons are invited to attend and to make comment.

PUBLIC HEARING

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR MONITORING THE STORAGE AND LAND

APPLICATION OF SEWAGE SLUDGE

The Rappahannock County Planning Commission shall hold a pubic hearing on proposed language relating to regulation of the storage and land application of sewage sludge, as amendments to the Rappahannock County Code, on Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at 7:30 PM at the Courthouse in Washington, VA.

The proposed Ordinance would take the place of a previously adopted absolute ban on such practices.
