our last game against Coach Oz’s U10 team next Saturday at 9 a.m. at RCES. It should be a great morning of soccer!

Coach Oz’s U-10 team won at home against Orange. The score was 3-0. Zack Way land, Huck Pace and Brian Shafran provided the scores. The team executed great passing even with the gusty wind and the defense continued to play strong allowing Orange to have few attempts at Rappahannock’s goal. The team has enjoyed playing together this year and this has allowed the team to have a great season!

In a rematch with Orange from their third game of the season, the Blue Lightning li12 girls traveled south to Orange Booster Park. Maybe it was the effects of the cold weather, or the long season of road games taking it’s toll, but the Rapp girls struggled at both ends of the field. The only Blue Lightning goal came in the first half from Hannah Rosenbaum, with Ella Miller getting the assist.

Megan Wheatley and Ella Miller shared goalie duties, but just as in the previous game the Orange girls were able to use their speed, size and strength advantage in a 5-1 defeat of the Blue Lightning. The U-12 Rapp girls have played much better soccer the second half of the season and have a very bright future ahead of them as this team matures over the next 18 months.

This Saturday, the Blue Lightning travel to Culpeper for their final game of the sea
