The U10 Rapp Rockets have tied for the third straight game with a final score of 3-3 against Madison, It was a very windy day with the ball not always going where we thought it would! Rapps team started out the day with a goal from right wing Jacob Racer, which was then answered by Madisons first goal. Brett Heddleston gave keeper Michael Caporuscio great defense as we were able to hold Madison to a lead through the first half.
Bennet Eastham had two goals to his credit with the unmistakable help from Conner Settle in perfect timing passing. The footwork of Matt Fletcher cannot be understated as he took advantage of the other teams size and went in at their feet to snake the ball right from Madison.
Fletcher showed incredible speed and adaptability as coach had to place him in defensive and offensive positions. The real test came when Logan Mckieman who had been gone for two games came in and played as if he was there the whole time.
