Anniversary celebration set The First Baptist Church in Washington will celebrate its 128th anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Howard Frye from Nazareth Baptist Church in Boston will be preaching. Three nights of revival will be held Oct. 31 through Nov. 2. On Wednesday, Rev. Harrison Williams from Stanardsville will be preaching; on Thursday, Nov. 1 Rev. Journey Beasley from Wolftown will preach and on Friday, Nov. 2 Rev. Ludwell Brown from Haywood will speak for the Memorial Night. All evening services begin at 7:30 and the public is invited to attend.
