Flu shots available
Flu shots will be given at the Rappahannock County Health Department on Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. The shots are open to the public. Those attending should bring a medicare card and adults at high risk should bring their medicaid card. All others will be charged $12.

U.S. Senator George Allen’s representative, Chaz EvansHaywood will be at the Rappahannock County Library from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23. He will be available to discuss issues facing the area and to help anyone having problems with a federal agency.

Silent auction
planned at RCHS
The Rappahannock County High School newspaper staff is planning a silent auction on Thursday, Oct. 17 in the front hall of the high school from 3 to 8 p.m. There are approximately 25 items and the community is encouraged to support this endeavor.

autumn harvest
