Support group to meet

Open house scheduled
The Culpeper Social Security Administration (SSA) District Office recently relocated. The office will be hosting an open house at their new location at 1014 South Main Street on Friday, Oct. 18 from 8:45 to 10:45 a.m. Rappahannock residents are serviced through the Culpeper location. The Culpeper Social Security Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a. to 4 p.m. Residents can reach the local office at 825-5781.
Benefit dinner planned
A benefit dinner for Sidney Dodson, who has cerebral palsy will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Washington fire hall. The all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner includes a salad, garlic bread, dessert and beverage for the price of $10 for ages 12 and over; $5 for children ages four to 12 and children under three will eat for free. Three-day workshop planned

Beekeepers to meet
The Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its October meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Culpeper Cooperative Extension Service building at the corner of Davis Street and South West Street, Culpeper.
