This weekend, Oct 19 and 20, is the date for the House Tour and Dried Flower Sale in' Washington. This is the 46th year for the event, which is a major fund raiser for the Episcopal Churchwomen (ECW) of Trinity Episcopal Church. Proceeds go to local charitable activities.
Hours of the sale at the church on Gay Street in the town are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Similar hours exist for touring the houses, two in the town and one in Tiger Valley.
Tickets for the tour are available at the church, $15 for all three houses and for tea at the Middleton Inn, one of the homes on the tour. Individual homes may be toured at a cost of $5 each.
